Therapeutic and Relaxation Massage
Medical massage therapists have advanced training in the medical field, usually as Registered Nurses, or physical and occupational therapists.
Medical massage therapy is applied to a specific area where the client has a problem, rather than a general massage treatment. Treatments vary from 15 minutes to 1 hour.
Techniques employ a relaxed hand technique, referred to as "soft hand." This allows deep tissue penetration without patient discomfort and further injury.
In addition to being a medical massage therapist, Teri is certified in lymphatic drainage and Reiki.
Teri’s goal is to help clients alleviate pain and discomfort from injuries and specific medical conditions. An important aspect of Teri’s practice is working as a team with other health care providers to best serve her clients.
